Talking about change

Hello dear readers, I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that this week will be exciting for all!

I am sitting here thinking of the lovely few days that made up this past weekend. There is no real highlight for the past few days, but the combination of good friendship, great laughs, love from the husband, family unity and overall happy moments made up a great few days! I am however aware that perhaps I am adding more worth to these ordinary events because I know what is coming... soon.

It is official - the husband and I will be moving to the UK in October! Smile, frown, stomach churning, jump up and down moments for me at this point in time! Although the where, what and when still need to be finalised we have received the confirmation of our move last week - happiness!!!

So you can expect some exciting posts on this matter in the next few months! Although this decision to relocate is daunting I am filled with anticipation and excitement for what might be.

Lets go for a stroll

Hello dear readers!
So I am back in the land of the living and right back in the middle of the rush we call Jo'burg living and working! I must admit I miss the Cape and its wondrous beauty!!

Here are some pics of a few pretty things that I encountered during an afternoon stroll in beautiful Franshhoek during my visit to the Cape the past few days:

An amazing shop_ Masquerade: WOW!

The town with its old heritage and rich history remains breathtaking

Streets are lined  with trees and carefully curated shop window displays

It was a cloudy, windy day yet this town remains a beauty!

Have a good week dear readers.

I want to break free

In the words of the late Freddie Mercury, who would've celebrated his birthday today (September 5, 1946 – November 24, 1991), "I want to break free..." Its Monday again and as expected it is not a happy day for me. Unrealistic deadlines with too little time to reach them.

Here are some nice pics of the late Freddie, I wonder where he would've been today as a 65year old man?

Where would I be breaking free to you may ask.
It does not need to be far, something local will do! I will definately get some tips on the top 10 attractions in South Africa from here.
