Off air for a few days

Tomorrow I am off to KwaZulu-Natal for a few days to support the husband in the Dusi Canoe Marathon.

We will be road tripping and I am already looking forward to seeing some of South Africa's beautiful scenery!

So, as I will be bundu-bashing for the next few days, I will probably be "off-line" and not able to do any blog posts, but if given half a chance I will definitely make the effort to put something up!

One for the road

Its been a loooooooong Thursday and the prospects of spending the evening home alone, as the husband is traveling for business, is not very comforting. I foresee a sushi take away and a date with my computer. I have some work to catch up on and maybe this "night-off" could be used wisely as to ensure a more relaxed weekend.

Happy Friday!

Yay its Friday, the day I have been looking forward to the entire week. After an eventful Thursday night spent at the Joburg Art fair (a must see if you are in Joburg this weekend) and some weird and strange dreams (read more on this in Dream hunter on T's blog) I am ready for a weekend with the family, a much needed break and a bit of traveling, even it is only a 2 hour flight.

Speaking of traveling, what would I give to be doing a road trip right now.... perhaps a trip between Paris and Barcelona... sigh.

This is exactly the trip that Benedikt Sebastian took before composing this song and video - inspiring and exciting I think! In his own words: "Paris to Barcelona, random trip, random ideas, random thoughts, Beautiful. Fun"
