Tea-Time

This post is for my two tea-drinking friends Tshepo and Bailey and my mother, a real tea-snob, as we always joke at home.

How do you like yours? I can quite comfortably say that my favorite cup of tea of the day is the first one, the one usually served in bed - thanks awesome husband!!

We received a beautiful vintage teapot as a wedding gift from my sister-in-law, one of my most favorite possessions!
To some drinking tea is exactly that - the act of consuming tea - but for others tea drinking forms an integral part of their lives; these tea connoisseurs have personal rituals and sacred habits and they usually have very specific methods of brewing, specific products and even cups and teapots to serve their tea in. I have however decided not to dwell on this today, but rather to focus on some of the marvelous and beautiful teapots out there. Enjoy.

Both my mom and mother-in-law have the most wonderful collections of vintage silver teapots, milk jugs and suger-pots.

Most of all, a good cup of tea boils down (i could not resist) to how you prefer to drink it and who you decide to share it with.

  1. Let's go to China and master the art of tea making! (That would be a fun girls' weekend)
