To cut or not to cut

It seems I have fallen victim to the mommy-chop!

My friends often joke about it when someone makes a drastic hairstyle change shortly after a big event in their lives - you get the I-just-got-married-what-now, the I-lost-a-lot-of-weight and the mommy-chop amongst others.

Well as the title clearly explains - the mommy-chop is when a new mother makes a drastic hair change.. and this is exactly what I did yesterday! I when short!

I am feeling rather refreshed and ready for the new season that has also just begun.

Spring is winking at us

It feels like winter skipped Jozie this year. Last year this time we were experiencing snow and dressed in our warmest coats and boots, desperately trying to fight off the unfamiliar cold weather. This year however I feel like I haven't given my winter wardrobe the attention it usually demands.

Although we are still a few weeks away from spring I am delighted to see various different blossoms and flowers making their appearance all around the city, how beautiful!

I took these pictures while on my morning walk with Anton yesterday, what a pleasant adventure the streets have turned into, beauty around every corner, behind fences and walls and in the school yards that we pass. #prettiness
