Today was my very first day of being a free agent and my own boss - I still smile when I say that!
Although I cannot say that I had a wonderfully, exciting day, I can say (with a smile on my face) that I did exactly what I wanted to, how I wanted to it, when I wanted to do it... GREAT!

I am now in Stellenbosch, visiting the parents.
Dad looks like he's been in a serious bar fight after his mountain bike accident last week and mom is building up her strength after quite a serious operation, but still they are smiling and lovingly looking after each other (as best they can at this moment in time), so inspiring!
For the first time in a while I can, with certainty, say that I did not have a case of the Monday Blues and I am grateful for that! It looks like it will be a good week!
